"Inspired" Little Desk

post by Katie
Hello again,
I thought I would share a little desk I finished recently for the Cottage.  This was part of my feat to clean out my garage.  It's been sitting there for months.
You see she had no character with her plain skinny legs and basicness, I had to figure out how to give her some.  So I decided on stencils.  I remembered seeing a feather pen on one of my Cricut cartridges, so I thought perfect for a desk, along with the word "Inspired".  I was definitely inspired and got it done in no time.
This is after I painted and distressed, but basically what she looked like in her before state...
and here she all dressed up at the Cottage in her pretty little gray stencils...
and Just a few close ups...
                                                              Thanks for stoppin'

  1. Very pretty, Katie! Love the additions with the stencils. The "inspire" wording is perfect for a desk.

  2. Love the stencils. I'm a sucker for cubby hole desks. I'd love it if you would share this at "What We Accomplished Wednesday," at Green Willow Pond. It is live right now. Have a great week!
