If Picture is Worth a Thousand Words...

If a picture is worth a thousand words, a really good picture must be worth a lot more, well that's what we were hoping for anyway when we had my good friend, and our soap girl (some people are just full of talent) take these awesome pics at the cottage this week, I've been so jealous of all those great looking blogs out there, and it just seems like it has so much to do with how good the picture is, and so here are just a few of the treasures you'll find at the cottage right now. Let me know what you think.

 Cottage White Distressed Hutch

  Mod Gray Secretary

 Cottage White Nightstand

No. 1, 2, 3 Cottage White Dresser

Mod Gray Chairs, Cottage White Side Table

 Soft Yellow Skinny Hutch

And a few of our accessories...

Some Lighting...

And I just have to give a shout out to our photo pros decadent soap line, check out http://gracefulrosesoapco.blogspot.com/

I'll be showing off more of these great pics in the weeks to come...Thanks so much for stopping by

Before and after's

Hello,

I'm Katie, one of Faye's daughters, I've created for the cottage off and on through the years, but have contributed alot more in the last few months, so I thought I would share a few of my before and after's. Hope you enjoy.

Goodwill find

For our White, Wood and Burlap love, sorry for the ugly garage surroundings.

This was a Craiglist find...it was a little disappointing finding out that it didn't actually go together

but I don't think you can hardly tell after it was finished.

This was on of those great deals you find once in a great while on Craigslist, and only like two miles from my house.

This was from our first time to go to an auction, it was lots of fun, but I'm pretty sure if my mom hadn't been there I wouldn't have ended up with it.

It looked so cute at the cottage, but didn't last long at all.

Another late night Craigslist find, that we had to jump up and grab.

This was one of those super cheap deals, but oh those spindles, and for such a tiny thing.

But it looks pretty cute in our new French Farmhouse Collection.

Thanks for stopping by!
